Sandy Hartman - Family Educator
I am the Family Educator for the IVC School
Districts where Bright Futures is located at South School and
Mossville School. This is my fourth year working with Bright Futures
but I have been working with young children in schools for 22 years.
I offer a play group at Mossville School. Please join us with your
0-5 year olds for an hour of play with age appropriate toys, an
activity, and concluding with story, songs, and fingerplay. Play
group is a great time of socialization for you and your child.
Parents often make great friends with other parents and get together
for lunch or kids play dates away from school. Each
play group day also includes a parent
topic and time for discussion.
I also lead the Family Literacy at
the Library held at the Chillicothe Public Library. I read a story
or two and then we do activities related to the story/theme for the
night.
I am available for home visits to any family within these districts.
I can bring information about child development as well as any
parenting concerns information.
I will be planning several workshops
throughout the year. These include training for CPR, Discipline
workshops, stress management, etc
I am looking forward to working with the IVC families this year!
